Professional Acrylic & Natural Nail Education
About Me:
If you plan to subscribe, I hope it is for at least one of my two reasons that incited me to start this channel in the first place: An everlasting love for the world of nail art, as well as a deep abiding respect for the always-advancing nail industry. Of which I am fortunate to be a part. I owe the bulk of my education in nail technology to the master himself, Doug Schoon. Whose career I have respectfully and meticulously studied and followed for 18-years.
Here you will find lots of videos showing easy to do nail art designs, as well as some advanced designs. You'll see designs for both natural and artificial nails, as well as long and short lengths.
If you are a student, a beginner, or an enthusiast doing home nail care I invite you to subscribe, and will help in any way I can to advance your love or career in the nail industry. In a DIY world, I understand that formal training in the field of nail technology, sadly, is not an option for everyone. Should that mean being denied the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of REAL nail care, and PROPER applications of artificial nail enhancements?
I say no!
I say no because without (at least) a basic understanding of nail technology, caring for your own nails can be harmful to you. Even dangerous. There are chemicals to consider that need proper storage and handling. Sharp implements that need sanitation and maintenance in order to keep in optimal and safe condition, as well as prevent the spread of bacteria and diseases. Yes, this can happen even if you are the only one using them.
Unfortunately, YouTube has become a common breeding ground for ANYONE to speak aloud on subjects they are not qualified to give advice in—and ignorance fuels them. In an overwhelming abundance you'll find those within the nail art community whose greater interest is not for the world of nails, but to gain subscribers. And have traded knowledge in nail technology to hock cheap drug store products, give incorrect nail advice, and distract you in the process with random give-aways and insipid nail art tutorials. For this I caution you with great urgency.
I have seen far too many "nail care" videos spewing advice, and information without a shred of truth behind them. These videos I deem as reckless, irresponsible, and deceptive. A true authority in the field of nail care, such as myself, understands the ethical responsibility that is the cornerstone of professional conduct. You do not have to possess a license in nail technology to learn what I have learned over the course of a successful 29-year career. With or without a license you need only to respect the nail industry and what it stands for. And that does not include posting public videos with invalidated information that could injure or put those watching them in harms way.
Please be careful when choosing which "nail care" videos to follow. There is a RIGHT way to go about nail care, and there is a WRONG way. Knowing the difference will set you apart from the reckless amateurs.
