Grew up a republican and in a very republican household. However I realised through my travels that while we hold independence and freedom as ideals America is far from having either. That religion has gotten too much of a strangle hold on my country and I don't wish to live in a theocracy. I think that people need to start using some common sense before we become a Christian version of Iran. I think there is one rule that should made law:
Don't like gay marriage? Don't get one... Don't like cigarettes? Don't smoke them... Don't like abortions? Don't get one... Don't like sex? Don't have it... Don't like drugs? Don't do them... Don't like porn? Don't watch it... Don't like alcohol? Don't drink it... Don't like guns? Don't buy one... Don't like your rights taken away? Don't take away someone else's!

I am an odd cookie grew up in the country and live in the city now. Though love going home and having a nice cup of coffee and watching the world go by. My family still raises cattle in the middle of no where Texas, where as I have escaped out for University. And by escaped I mean ran off to England to get away from the scary conservatives. I guess I have been corrupted by freedom and religious tolerance of our Mother country. Why we take religion to the level of utter stupidity is beyond me,. Live and Let live. Say what you want but proud of where I am and where I am from and think that for the most part the world would be a better place if people stopped being so greedy and if on occasion we could all just compromise on occasion. Not everyone can win every argument everytime.
