@pjammer11 Did you know that they wrote this song for their friends returning from Vietnam? It is one of my very favorites of theirs, as is the entire Dowdy Ferry Road album. Still have my LP of it...thank you for uploading this one.

My main thing with Gerry is the GREEN eyes!!!...love them, but know it's hard on some people to wear colored contacts & if they stick to the descrip...

Laura Creamer did a version that was used in Highlander: The Series episode Homecoming.

Also, Highlander: Endgame this time with Jennifer McNeil doing the vocals.

The shots of him sitting on the steps holding her nightgown still crush me...I cried for hours when this originally aired...I'll always love this series....

I first noticed this crystal voiced darling in Songcatcher. She was so cute in that & stole my heart with her version of Barbara Allen. This movie shows her as an adult with that true talent shining...Love you, Emmy...blessings to you always!

Been awhile since I watched the movie, but needed a hit of God Give Me Strength today...I had forgotten this little jewel from the movie, b/c it was so short...happy to see that a full length version was done. Also, these girls sound & remind me of a laid back versio...
