The material uploaded here is of the Bugeikan school of Martial Art founded by Seitoku Higa and carried on by the Higa family at their Dojo in Okinawa. It includes some of the older Kata that were collected by Seitoku Higa and the Hanashiro Chomo Kata added by his son Kiyohiko Higa as well as some weapons and Kata performance by Seitoku Higa's daughter Reiko Higa. In addition there is some of material of Bugeikan Seido (Way of Life) that was perceived as being a new martial art for the 21st century and which involves the study of Intrinsic energy or Ki as well as an Aikido video. Other material shows Udun Di as practised at the Bugeikan. It is hoped that this channel will give an insight into the type of training undertaken at the Bugeikan led by the Higa family over a period of time. The favourites menu includes a number of martial arts videos that are of historical and cultural interest in relation to the martial arts. Further video links can be found on my website above.
