About LaShea V. Money(Sugar)
LaShea "Sugar"" Money is a native of Troy, Alabama. The 26-year-old Music Industry Major has been a member and regular soloist for the Troy University Gospel Singers, Troy University Collegiate Singers and The Troy University Opera Theater. She is also founder of The Voices of Illios Christian Ensemble [V.O.I.C.E.] singers of Troy.
LaShea is known in her local community as a young lady with a powerful voice and heart for singing Gospel and Classical Music. LaShea has had past auditions in Atlanta, in 2003, as a mezzo- soprano for the Metropolitan Opera; judges complimented her on her beautiful, rich and dramatic vocal tones, and encouraged her to pursue Operatic singing as a career. Sugar's accomplishments also include being chosen by the Troy University Music Department to be a featured vocal performer for the Fall 2006 Honor's recital. Her future Goals is to become an entrepreneur and own a line of businesses. She is also currently working in her calling as a Songwriter, Play writer, Singer. Her plans on releasing her Album entitled "It's a Spiritual Thing" is scheduled for release May of 2007. Sugar answers the call God has placed on her life and boldly calls on God for faith, hope, and love--and above all love. She believes that one's relationship and purpose in Christ is a bold, bountiful blessing that empowers voices of seekers and believers. Classically trained and spiritually commissioned, Sugar presses toward the mark of her " true calling" - which is to sing for God and God's beloved people.
