Merlin & Morgana - The Movie!
Summary: Sparks fly when the servant boy Merlin meets the beautiful Lady Morgana for the very first time but their blooming romance is ill-fated due to their different ranks in society. Does true love really conquer all obstacles?
I wanted to do this for ages... I know I'm insane but I just HAD to do it. :-) I WILL GO DOWN WITH THIS SHIP! *laughs*
By the way: There's a bonus scene (some kind of an alternative ending) for those awesome people who actually watch the credits!
I'm very sorry for the glitches. It took 8+ hours to render. I'm not gonna do it again...
It took me three weeks and countless hours to finish it but I did it at last. Huge credit goes to the amazing Sophie (Specialisyou) for giving me the motivation to go through with it. Without her I would have given it up already. Thank you, hun!
This was - hand on my heart - the hardest and most challenging video I've ever made (privately AND at work). Not only the manipulations but also the audio design was a pain in the arse. Most of the Merlin clips were not clean (means there's this huge epic orchestral music over the clips) so I had to mute the original sound and "fake" most of the sound effects like steps or nature sounds or doors opening and closing etc etc.
I'm very proud of the result. I mean I still see things that could be improved but I quite like it the way it is.

I have no idea what to call this video haha.. I thought I would never finish it, but after long hours it is done.. I really don´t know what this is haha. I just had this idea.. after seeing all these amazing manip videos in the past few weeks.
Basically Merlin saved Morgana´s life and she saw him. Then she was wondering why he would do that. She went to search form him and then confused feelings, they came to terms with each other. Gaius says this has to end and Morgana comes to find Merlin in Camelot. When they leave some bandits/gang attack and they use magic together to fight it. Merlin gets severly injured and Morgana tries to protect him. When she tries to bring the rocks down Merlin uses his magic to help and then goes unconcius... and later Morgana goes to the lake to have one last wish.
Also it is one year since I uploaded my first video!! :) well I thought it was today but actually it was yesterday..:S but oh well haha. Just wanted to say that times flies and it has been really amazing here. And I really can´t imagine my life without making videos anymore... :)

YAY!!!! It's done, and must I say I REALLY like it :) Why is it that all the Merlin videos I do, I really like? It's weird.
This was made for the 3rd Round of the BOIT Competition, and I'm so happy I've made it this far. It's so much fun and it's challenging and making me a better vidder.
Our challenge this time was to take two characters and switch their roles in the show. BUT we had to show BOTH characters and go in depth with them. Right off the bat i started thinking of ones I could do, I thought of Kahlan and Cara and Richard and Kahlan but thought those would be really difficult for me, and then I though Merlin/Morgana! Perfect!

Anyways! Time to explain the video :)
TV Show storyline:
Merlin is a wizard/warlock who comes to Camelot. He meets the Great Dragon who lives beneath the castle. The Dragon tells Merlin it is his destiny to guide Arthur and help him become king.
Morgana is King Uther's ward, and she suffers from what she and Gaius thinks are 'nightmares' when in fact they are visions of the future and it is magic. She starts to become aware of this power and is terrified by it because Uther HATES magic and will kill anyone with it or suspected of it.
A druid boy comes to Camelot and Morgana becomes very connected to him and helps him escape.
Morgana starts hating Uther for his hatred of magic and tries a couple of times to have him killed, but fails because she realized that it's wrong (and because Merlin almost kills her)
Morgana confronts Merlin about her magic and he tries to help her by sending her to the druids because he can't tell her about his magic.
MY STORY(not completely in order) READ AFTER:
Merlin is just a boy who comes to Camelot. He meets his mothers friend Giaus.
Morgana has Powerful Magic (haha) and is called to by the Great Dragon and is told that her destiny and Arthur's are entwined and without her Arthur will never become king.
Merlin starts to realize he has magic, first when he freezes a bucket of water from falling, then he forms smoke into the shape of a horse, and he is terrified and consults Morgana about it (he doesn't know she has magic just yet, but they are friends) Morgana tells him its magic and its not something to be afraid of.
Mordred the druid boy comes to Camelot and Merlin nurses him back to health and helps him escape back to his kind.
Morgana saves Arthur's life by killing the evil witch (which Merlin really did in the show) and she advises him on how to be a better man/king. She has a terrible dream where she sees Arthur get hurt, and she tries to warn him but he goes on the hunt anyways. When in the Questing Beasts cave, something comes over Merlin and makes him use his magic to make the Questing beast attack Arthur. He's horrified by what he's done, yet something inside of him is happy.
Morgana knows it's partly her fault, for letting him go, and has to do something to save him so she goes to the Island of the Blessed and offers her life to Nimueh in exchange for Arthur's. Arthur lives and Morgana goes to sleep thinking she won't wake up again. But she does.
At the same time Merlin visits the druids and tells them about how his magic and what he did to Arthur and how he wants to kill Uther.
The next day the witchfinder comes and accuses Gaius of being a sorcerer. (by this time Merlin knows Morgana has magic) Merlin blames Morgana for Gaius's death (because Nimueh took his life instead of Morgana's).
Merlin wakes up in the night by some evil magical force in he finds its source in the caves beneath the castle. He takes out the evil heart and is possessed by the evil spirit. Morgana sees this in her dream and when she wakes she looks into the magical crystal to see what will happen to camelot at the hands of Merlin if she doesn't stop him.
She knows Merlin wants to kill Uther so she suggests to Uther that they go to her fathers grave together and knows Merlin eavesdrops on their conversation. Merlin follows them there and just when he's about to kill Uther, Morgana kills him. They have his funeral
The last part is sort of a future part where it shows Morgana advising Arthur throughout his life and the last quote is to say basically when Arthur is king he won't see magic as evil any longer.
Whoo! That was long and I hope it make sense :)
