I have worked in the video field since 1993. Starting out as a volunteer camera operator at GNS Channel 19 of Lansing, I later received training in all aspects of television production including lighting, remote video shoots, computer graphics and post production editing. In 1997 I started my own video production company (LaClair Video Productions) specializing in wedding videos, cable TV shows, (award winning) some that aired for a time on UPN & FOX Networks local affiliates. I also produce promo & demo videos (some viewed statewide) and numerous other projects both consumer and corporate. I have also worked as a freelance videographer, working with Amazing Photo & Video Company of Lansing, Michigan, where I have assisted in many projects, including work for the State of Michigan and many multiple camera weddings/receptions as well as being in charge of a production crew. I believe there are many couples who are planning marriage that would like to have their wedding memories preserved, but don't want to pay the high price tag. I believe it is for people like this that I can provide a good quality lower price service. There is no substitute for a Wedding Video. Photographs are great, but to have the sites and sounds of the Bride's father walking the Bride down the aisle, and the Bride and Groom exchanging vows, the bouquet being tossed at the reception all preserved for years to come is a must for this once in a lifetime event.
