Since 1989, the Gastric Band Institute of Las Vegas has been helping people in Las Vegas overcome their lifelong battle with being overweight through surgical procedures. The Gastric Band Institute stands as one of the leading Centers of Excellence in the southwest. Its doctors have trained over 100 surgeons from across the country how to perform surgical weight loss operations and have traveled across the country to assist surgeons in performing their first cases. The program conducts 95% of the bariatric surgeries performed in Las Vegas and has performed over 3,000 operations to date.

The Gastric Band Institute also provides patients with all of the relevant subjects, issues, and information surrounding lifestyle choices and perspectives essential to achieving positive outcomes following bariatric surgery, including weight loss support groups and regular post-surgical care.
