"But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human beings days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason?"
[Qur'an, 36:68]
"Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop - then at once he is a clear adversary?
And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?"
Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing." "
[Qur'an, 36:77-79]
"DOES MAN, then, think that he is to be left to himself to go about at will?
Was he not once a [mere] drop of sperm that had been spilt,
and thereafter became a germ-cell - whereupon He created and formed [it] in accordance with what [it] was meant to be,
and fashioned out of it the two sexes, the male and the female?
Is not He, then; able to bring the dead back to life?"
[Qur'an, 75:36-40]
"He who has created death as well as life, so that He might put you to a test [and thus show] which of you is best in conduct, and [make you realize that] He alone is almighty, truly forgiving."
[Qur'an, 67:2]
"He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together:
Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress:
Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?"
[Qur'an, 55:19-21]
To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth. He forgives whom He pleases and punishes whom He pleases; but Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
O you who believe! Devour not usury, doubled and multiplied; but fear Allah; that you may (really) prosper.
Fear the Fire, which is repaired for those who reject Faith:
And obey Allah and the Messenger; that you may obtain mercy.
Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous,-
Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good;-
And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah?- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done.
For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath,- an eternal dwelling: How excellent a recompense for those who work (and strive)!"
[Qur'an, 3:128-136]
