I loved this generation of DeVilles! My grandfather had a few of these during this generation.

Too bad they're not made this way anymore. This has been one of my favorite generatons of Cadillac! In my opinion, 1979-85 was the last of the nice looking Eldorado cars.

WAIT - What the h*** is this?! Someone tricked us here!

The five-doors still look more like hatchbacks than wagons! Newer Subaru wagons also look more like SUVs due to much increased height. I'd probably go for a real truck or SUV if I were to purchase a new vehicle anytime soon.

I wonder if the Armada SUV has had the same quality issues?

This is very much the same thing as an Isuzu Rodeo (1991-97). Apparently, that generation also fared very badly in crash tests, at least without airbags. The 1995.5-97 models had airbags, but I'm not sure how that version fared in crash tests.

I bought this brand new - right after this redesigned model was first released. Still have it nearly one decade later.

Le-FLOP! This car departed from our shores (North America) soon after this commercial was released.

I remember this one. This was when front seat passengers would have to sit over the front wheels - a pogo-stick ride. The right front seat had to be raised to service the engine. Thank goodness production ended after 1990!

What the h*** was GM thinking from 1978-87?! GM said the deletion of roll-down rear windows on its G-body mid-size cars would cut costs (gimme a break!). They used movable vent windows instead on ther rear doors. No wonder such sedans were phased (or replaced) out between 1983 and 1987.

I like this part of the epiosde best - because Pierce's duplicate decides to mess everything up for each female classmate: Bianca, Nikki, and Tara (Tara's pie shown in part 3).

For "civilians", the interior looked pretty plain, as you can see. During its production, Fairmont would also be used as law enforcement and taxi fleets.

Poor Kona - she couldn't sit still, as the vet techs try to heal her "ear mites." Hopefully, Kona's ears are better now.

Near the end of this cartoon, Snoopy did a good job by fighting back with the circus instructor, throwing her in the pink dip, after she did so to Snoopy.

I was that age also, when this was first released.

I thought that red seemed to fit Lark(e)'s lifestyle, and that blue would fit Blaze's. I almost got the two mixed up. I guess they were not twins, just drawn similarly.

I remember this show when I was 10-12 years old. I was crazy about this show at the time. There was almost always a "show" between Lark(e) and Bianca. Pierce was rarely liked by others. Switchboard always "rubbed it in". Ways to make any show interesting.

For me - the scariest logo was LORIMAR (black screen, yellow letters). LORIMAR TELEPICTURES was a bit freaky for me as well.

The last of the nice-looking Sentra cars. In my opinion.

No offense about location of assembly, however.

Will never forget this! In Evergreen (for example), there was up to 4 feet!!! October 2009 - It may have surpassed October 1997 as one of the snowiest on record, at least from my memory.

It probably took a few days for this to melt completely.

I had just moved into my own apartment in March 2010. During a two-week period, a series of snowstorms occured over the front range. This was the last in the series for March 2010. Altogether, the foothills must have had roughly 5 feet of snow for this month (2010).

I remember this day, but I don't recall the Denver metro area having measurable snowfall - for another month (even though it has happened early before). The first actual snowfall for Denver was Oct 21(?), in late 2009. It was a few inches, but a week later, the snow would be measured in FEET!!!

Frog-eyed headlights for the first four or five years of production!

Sui did the right thing - standing up for her rights, and filing suit against Randy. The previous weather lady finally stepped in as well. Randy sexually harassed two females - he is in double trouble!

That's correct! North Korea's govt is SO COMMUNIST and CORRUPT!!! This is where govt controls anything and everything! They don't even allow billboards or company signs anywhere.

I keep forgetting about the Veracruz. Almost looks like a Lexus RX.

Finally, Hyundai has made some more attractive cars/SUVs. I'd like to see this car at the next auto show!
