I know I'm waaaay late to the party on this one, but when I heard this for the first time I instantly thought of "Scuttle Buttin". I get it now. Obviously this guy was an enormous influence on SRV. Lonnie Mack is one bad motherfucker!

Watching this, you can really see how much of an influence Albert had on Stevie's style. There's a great story about the first time Stevie sat in with Albert. They were trading licks and Albert couldn't believe what he was seeing. He was getting "out-Albert King'd" with his own licks haha.

This band is completely mesmerizing. It's been years since something gave me goosebumps the first time hearing it like this song did.

I'm definitely getting one of these for scale help. I've seen it do tabs, but that just looks like a bigger headache than simply reading the tabs and learning how to play it. But seeing a scale lit up seems like it would really improve improvisation abilities.

As long as these guys don't take themselves too seriously and follow the forumula that's been working for them in past, I think they can find the success they once had. Oh yeah and have that same chick with the bouncing tatters in EVERY video they make.

Ah, Fitzgerald's. Played there countless times when I was younger and in my little rock bands. Wasn't until seeing that this was played and recorded there that I'm very proud to have even been in the same building as this guy once was.

This guy is just insane. I don't think there's a single inch of the guitar universe this guy hasn't been to.

Typical asian guitarist. Has to play everything 10 times faster than it needs to be played. Stick with an Ibanez. You just look stupid playing a strat.
