The clear liquid is actually alcohol...same stuff as the rubbing alcohol that we all have at home. If it dries up a bit, you can just add some alcohol. No need to buy a new one!!!

Thanks for the wonderful review. I'm wondering if you use your Yves Saint Laurent Matt touch primer with liquid foundations, or do you only use the primer with powder foundations? If you use this matte foundation, do you not need the YSL primer anymore? THANKS AGAIN!! Your reviews are WONDERFUL.
