While the 55LE5500 is a great product, you're correct, that particular model does not support Netflix and Skype in the Canadian market. Although LG was anticipating that Netflix was planning to come to Canada late last year, because we engineer our products as far out as 18 to 24 months, we did not have the opportunity to include Netflix for these models. All new LG models for 2011 are scheduled to be Netflix enabled.
I just bought a 55LE5500 and apparently, both Netflix and Skype dont work for Canadians (According to LG support). When does LG plan to fix this so that Canadians are also "connected"?
