As part of the Learning From YouTube class, we are trying to figure out the uses of YouTube as a marketing tool for both signed and unsigned musicians. Is it a very effective method for exposure? Does it influences record and ticket sales? How does the number of views play into the effect of YouTube as a market? What about ratings?
