About Me:
The only live performing arts series on television, Live From Lincoln Center is produced by Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc., in cooperation with Thirteen/WNET in New York, and airs on PBS stations across the country. Created and developed by Executive Producer John Goberman, the series launched on January 30, 1976. Since then, both Mr. Goberman and Live From Lincoln Center have been recognized with numerous awards, including eleven Emmy Awards and 53 Emmy Award nominations, as well as two Grammy Awards, two George Foster Peabody Awards, three Monitor Awards, and a Television Critics' Circle Award. Live From Lincoln Center is made possible by a major grant from MetLife.
