What I like: learning, reading, reason, conversation, skiing, my dogs and my job
What I hate: willful ignorance (i.e. the determination to remain ignorant), bigotry, bigots, Fundamentalists (Christian or otherwise, see "bigots" and "ignorance" above), cretins who tell me on YT that they have a big house, big arms, guns, lake houses etc (don't be so pathetic guys, OK, YT is not the place to repair your shattered ego) and people who think ignorance is an accomplishment (e.g. redneck NeoConFascists who don' trus' no booklearnin' nur lib'ril fancy dancy thinkun').
Feel sorry for: religious fundamentalists who think the Bible as interpreted by their generally unschooled pastor is the inerrant word of God even though much of it was plagiarized from earlier religions and the Gospels were written decades after the alleged Crucifixion of the alleged Jesus, and then put through several hundred years of editing by numerous committees, then extensive redaction and restructuring and a millennium or so of cumulative transcription errors: Creationists (adults who, cognitively speaking, still believe in Santa) and Pentecostals because they have to fake "tongue" talking on Sundays in a warm climate.
