No one will be allowed to using the names of "Reading Academy or Lucas Castrounis for their teaching unless they have a legal writing permission from Lucas Castrounis or his/her represented.

Optical illusions: The way of training and development within the system and the use of Wing Chun in actual combat are two totally different things.
Lucas Castrounis, a former student of Nino Bernardo, and direct lineage of Yip Man - Wong Shun Leung and Bruce Lee has been featured in a number of martial arts magazines and newspapers across UK and abroad.
Lucas has produced several Wing Chun training DVD`S.
Has also been interviewed twice Live on BBC Radio Berkshire.
In 2000 was in the limelight again when he choreographed the fight scenes for a theater play at the Sonning Mill Theater in Berkshire.
In October 2003 Lucas Castrounis was presented with the Hall of Fame Award from the Internationally renowned Combat Magazine in recognition of his commitment and devotion to the development of Martial Arts in the United Kingdom and around the world.
In March 2009 Lucas was involved in a short combat film entitled 'Game Over' by director Andrea Di Bartolo as a main character alongside Franco Regalzi, a well known Wing Chun Teacher/ Instructor - former Student of Sifu Nino Bernardo & a direct lineage of Wong Shun Leung in Italy.
The film 'Game Over' won 1st place at the Tokyo Short Films Festival, Japan 2009 and was accredited Semi Finalist at the Action - Short Film Awards in Hollywood USA.

Lucas Castrounis joined "The Basement" in London (closed since December 2000), a Wing Chun school of Sifu Nino Bernardo, at that time Sifu Nino was the main representative of Master Wong Shun Leung in Europe.
Lucas Castrounis founded The Reading Academy of Wing Chun & Kali Escrima in August 1992 with the authorization of his former teacher Nino Bernardo.
The Reading Academy of Wing Chun & Kali Escrima is in association with Franco Regalzi Schools in Italy.
