About Obesity Control Center
Welcome to the Obesity Control Center You Tube Channel. You will find information on Weight Loss Surgery with Dr. Ariel Ortiz and his team of skilled doctors. Dr. Ortiz has performed well over 8000 surgeries! Dr. Ortiz is a proctoring (teaching) doctor for the band manufacturer and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as a Member of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery. We have worked in collaboration with other experts to perfect techniques for the Gastric Sleeve Plication (GSP) Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG) as well as Metabolic Surgery and Gastric Bypass.
We are honored to be accredited as an International Center of Excellence by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC), a division of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons (ASMBS) , one of only two such hospitals in all of Mexico. We are also certified Obesity Surgeons and a certified Training Center by Allergan (manufacturer of the Lap Band). We specialize in Teen Weight loss surgery as well as revision surgery, including band over bypass!
