The Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF), presented by the Latino International Film Institute (LIFI), is a nonprofit 501c(3) organization. Now in its 13th year, LALIFFs mission is to showcase and nurture existing and emerging creative Latino talent while serving as a springboard and catalyst for the promotion of Latin films and filmmakers and to bring awareness through film, the most influential audiovisual medium of our time, the richness and diversity of the Latin culture.

The premier Latino International Film Festival in the USA, LALIFF is the prominent venue for exhibition of the best of Latin cinema and artistry from the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal. Ultimately, the festivals mission is to create a bridge between Hollywood and Latino independent filmmakers and to serve our community by promoting the best in Latin cinema.

THE HOLLYWOOD CONNECT
LALIFF presents HOLLYWOOD CONNECT. A series of luncheon meetings, receptions, industry panels, discussions and presentations created as we have done in the past to build bridges between participating filmmakers and the professionals from the Hollywood film community with the objective to interact and learn from prominent experts, financiers, filmmakers, talent, and industry executives. These include indie and studio executives responsible for development, financing, production, and distribution and marketing.
These events will take place at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel and Spa at the Hollywood & Highland Center beginning Monday, October 12th through Thursday, October 15th.

This year we are having a 4 Day Seminar, "Script To Screen: A Filmmaker's Seminar Series."

Day 1: Storyboarding/Editing
Day 2: Financing/Casting
Day 3: To HD or not to HD
Day 4: Marketing and Distribution
