On the Boulevard, perhaps the largest display of Kutztown University student talent ever held in one evening, was showcased on Nov. 7, 2009, in the McFarland Student Union and Sharadin Arts Building. The event was developed by the KU Foundation and supported by more than 200 student and faculty volunteers. This year, the inaugural gala treated guests to dance, musical and theatrical performances by 11 different campus groups. The Student Leader Walk of Fame recognized 12 student organizations for their achievements and volunteer efforts on campus and throughout the community. Tours of the expanded Sharadin Arts Building were highlighted by visits to art studios and the student exhibit. (less info)
