Fame and fortune, what does it all mean? what does it drive people to do? The 90's for me ended in 1994. We all lost a little piece of ourselves throughout the following years, anyone who remembers atleast.
For some, the 90's ended in 96 with Tupac or 97 with Smalls, but that's not my point. The point is... we were there.
We saw the berlin wall fall, a hurricane wipe out a whole state, a president get the world's most famous blowjob.
We were there when the MLB went m.i.a. and George W, became the new JFK.
We watched as windows 3.0 became 3.1, 95, 98 and me.
We watched the internet grow from its infancy every step of the way. We grew up watching kevin smith and adam sandler films. Staying up late to watch saturday night live and the first show on adult swim.
We even watched the machines take over the world at the turn of the millenium.
We were there! we grew up, but we still haven't left that time, that place, because somewhere in your heart you're still wearing flannel, ripped jeans and slipping on the docs. Putting on a nirvana cd, getting ready to rock.
