Love their records, the great production and what Russell does on them but this does show how even a good singer has a really hard time singing in tune live.

Califnative65 is correct about the song being used in an AT&T commercial. I like Paul's style (so to speak) but even he shows that it's hard to sing in tune when you're doing a live performance.

Well, didn't find it "ironic" that the tune is in 5 but did find it interesting. Guess there would have to be more of a connection between 5 and 7 for there to be irony but hey, that's me. Great tune, great playing. Gee, what else is new . . .;-)

You're not GOING to find too many young people who write like this for two very salient reasons: they're not as internally spiritual and this guy was and the advent of "American Idol" has really created a laughable monster.

Cat was one of the most (pardon the pun) righteous cats who ever came down the pike. Was he the equal of the Beatles as a songwriter? Apples and oranges question. They both wrote in very different styles but he was absolutely great in his prime. No one like him before or after. Kind of like . ....

British? LOL! These are Philly boys who adopted N.Y.C. and L.A. as their playgrounds. This song really does show off Daryl at his vocal height. Not to mention their hair. LOL! He is THE vocal &^%$!!! No doubt about it.

In response to "readynow12345", Eddie Kendricks was definitely a very cool artist but as a singer, he couldn't carry Philip Bailey's mic. Eddie was cool but Philip sings those high notes full voice, no falsetto. Hey, just one man's opinion. Peace.

Why oh why would you interrupt that great groove with that horrible ending? And the synths didn't synch up properly at the end, very sloppy. They should've just let Stevie play all of "Go Home" with the other guys taking solos. Too many chefs, eh?

As a white person myself, I can guarantee you there were quite a few injured wrists from just trying to figure out if they should be clapping on 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. Stevie is just the groove monster of all time.

John Legend's cover of this is fine. Nice track . . . . but. Come on. There's Stevie's version with the right inversion (as opposed to "Innervision") of the changes and then there's everyone else. Stevie's sick. The best. End of story. Done.
