IGOR!!! :( I missed your call when you went back home. I didn't have my phone with me, then when I tried to phone you back it won't let me, I'm assuming that you cancelled your british phone.

I hope that life over there goes really well for you man, you will be missed. Sorry that I didn't get in touch, I did not forget that you were leaving I just had no way of getting in touch with you.

Best wishes from me and my family, it was lovely to have you in the UK and I will miss your company and our jams!

Y'kno, MIMs are quite good, I agree. Especially them high end ones, which costs you like 6 - 7 hundered quid, a price near to the AmStd. They also come up with some sweet finishes and couple of decent upgrades under the hood, like Fishman piezzo ghost p/up on the bridge, SCN Pickups etc. Although nothing could beat the good ol' US Fender, don't you reckon? The electronic's better, its wood was well selected and seasoned before being turned into a guitar body and it's crafted way better than any MIM would ever be. I'd rather get a Jap for a backup axe. Pity you contacted me that late, we could have do some trade, like buying the gear in the US and dispatching it home. Too late now, I'm back on Polish wage I am afraid.

I haven't been playing it anyway. And the guy who bought it paid an arm and a leg for the goddamn thing: $4,700.00. I got it back in 1993 or 1992 for $1,700.00. I'm still left with a 1994 American Standard Strat (the 40th anniversary edition) and a 1997 American Standard Tele (which I named Keith for Keith Richards).

I gotta tell you that those Tex-Mex axes are getting quite good. As a backup guitar, you can't beat the prices: you can get a MIM Strat for less than five hundred bucks.

Well, there you go, Mike: I use a 2006 US Std Strat with the Jeff Beck Jr. bridge pickup as well as a 2007 US Std Tele fitted with James Burton Texas Special pickups and a stock 1978 Gibson ES - 335 which comes with a coil tap, a bit rare thing for such as model. Thanks for your positive and very nice feedback, I'm glad you liked it. BTW: how could you sell such a nice tele, lol??

Dude, Bart told me you were good but that's only a half-truth: YOU'RE FUCKING AMAZING! What's that Strat you're playing? I just feaking sold my '72 Telecaster - I would've offered it to you, man, had I heard this before.
