I am an art student in the major of media arts and animation. I am 20 years old, LOVE drawn animation, and am also a girl. But don't hold that against me. Though these characters may appear cute, the animation series I am working on for at-home study is actually going to be based on an action-storyline genre. It will be heavily character developing, with humorous moments mixed in, and with some truly violent battle scenes. I am not taking Disney precautions with this. (FYI I love Disney's movies but I HATE Disney itself, they're total hypocrites. Pixar's where it's at if you want a fun and trustworthy employment in animation.) Now, I bet you guys are wondering "Oh what's this series about?" Cause no one cares about reading much about one person in particular x3 So below I will type about this animated series I have been working on, so recently dubbed..."Valor."

Way before I got into college, I had been working on a storyline involving anthropomorphic characters. You know, walking talking animals who wear clothes, although in this case, they would wear armor and wield weaponry. One of these characters was a caretaker at a ranch, but not a ranch for horses. These creatures she cared for were called Kopa. They are smaller than horses, but this came as no concern, as all those anthros in the nearby village were 'the small woodland critters.' The tallest Kopa they have at this ranch is Garjuk, the Patriarch, who stands 5'6'' at the shoulder.

Now, you're probably wondering what Kopa, now. Kopa, or as I like to call, the Terravian, are kind of like a subspecies of gryphon. However, they are a mix of bird and canine instead of bird and feline. Very few Kopa have wings, and most of them are 'mixed' - meaning you can't really tell what kind of bird or canine they are. The muzzles are often so melded it looks like a brand-new species. Some, however, sport pure birdlike heads, wings, tails, feet, etc. The most rare of all actually resemble gryphons in full, except for the canine part. These are sentient creatures though none were able to communicate with those anthros near the ranch, save for a few select words in Common.

My storyline changed from the anthro aspect to the Terravian aspect when I fell in love with the three puppies on the ranch. These three actually appeared in the comic I had been working on, and I had the idea to give them a story of their own. This story grew to such an inspiration that I seemed to have abandoned the anthro portion of it completely. The three puppies, which now look a little older in order to fit in with the building storyline, are Takarii, Ryo, and Marik. Pictures of these three can currently be seen at my Deviant Art. (Just look up Kryodrache, that is my username wherever I go.)

The story starts with these three at the ranch. The first episode will be used to show their innocence which will later be taken away from them throughout the series. While Tak and Ryo appear content with their living space, however, Marik seems to be the one who wants to get out of the ranch, and this action influences what happens next. Akkune, a particularly violent Kopa at the ranch who is constantly kept under lock so she cant hurt the others, breaks free and causes havoc within the enclosure. She manages upon the three puppies, and there is a violent scuffle that breaks them through the fence and down off the cliff. They are chased through the wilds until stumbling upon a flock of passing Arcane Amphitheres, magical creatures known for their almost purely magical means of existence and their habit of transporting wherever they feel like next (because the plane of which this land exists has no end to it). The three have no choice but to hop aboard and are taken across the Shroud (which is a spreading storm of shadow that had been approaching the ranch, part of the original plot that is now in the background for this- storyline) to a purely wild land.

This new land is corrupted and under the rule of one major entity; Morrogh, who appears as a black owl-kopa, gryphon in every sense of the word. This land had been under his reign for so long that his word was now law. He had overcome all odds and taken over the terrain. Takarii, Ryo, and Marik stumble upon the very last, struggling rebel pack, this pack rescuing the trio from Akkune, and after a while the trio agree to help as they have no way back home. This is where the story and series will truly begin. I hope that wasnt too long winded for ya :D
