WHO AM I? From info on my Entertainment Bio:
"Kristopher Lloyd", born in Gary, Indiana as Robert Buchanan, Jr. a.k.a. RLBII a.k.a SIRE, gained national exposure in the 80's & 90's as a professionally trained Runway Model, Singer, Lyricist and Concert Stage Coordinator. Raised in the Midwest which includes Chicago and Detroit, he was inspired with the Motown R&B sound, Original House Music, Funk, and Hip-Hop. His dad, Robert Buchanan, Sr. of the 1960's group "Le'Renards", was on the same 60's showcase with the infamous Jackson 5 at the time of their discovery in Gary, Indiana. The Le'Renards turned down a record deal by the lack of parental signatures for their group. His mother, Gloria Robinson modeled professionally for 42 years, a clothing designer, a former make-up artist/manicurist which included work at a prominent television station, she sang gospel, and is a current poet. This is where Kristopher Lloyd's chemistry, passion, and his love for music and arts began.
At age 6, Kristopher began singing in his Baptist church choir. By his teen years he served as Youth Choir President. Age 12, Kristopher began working in his parents record store where he met the O'Jays, Phillis Hyman, Shalamar with Howard Hewitt, the Whispers, Glady's Knight & the Pips, Lakeside, Roger & Zapp, Shirley Murdock, Stevie Wonder and Luther Vandross. Age 15, Kristopher began writing R&B lyrics, House Music lyrics for local groups, solo artist, and playing the keyboard. Age 16-17, he began working with a stage production company in Chicago that staged many concerts. To name a few tours worked are: Prince 1999, The Time, Vanity 6, Kool & the Gang, Chic, Evelyn 'Champagne" King, Slave with Steve Arrington, Kurtis Blow & Grandmaster Flash, Full Force, Lisa Lisa Cult Jam, SOS Band, Bar-Kays, Confunkshun, George Clinton, Al Hudson/One Way and Whitney Houston. Kristopher staged the only full production of Michael Jackson "Thriller" tour in his local area at three high schools which was a major success.
Each artist or groups instantly were his personal inspirations. Serving in the Military at age 17, Kristopher was able to integrate his abilities in doing work for the Budweiser Superfest, Summer Festivals, staging his own original play, "A Thing Called Love", ghost writing & recording under the name of "SIRE". Articles in the local military newspaper hit. Revamping his image, Kristopher moved back to the Midwest and formed his own production company Taboo Productions & Entertainment with a friend Terrell Brooks of East Chicago, IN. Concentrating on DJ services, dancers, studio recording, and concert staging; he met his Godfather Harvey Scales through the late Elizabeth Williams of Creative Visions, Inc. Harvey Scales is the very first platinum single artist in U.S. history as of 4/22/76. Harvey assisted Kristopher's group "Something 2 Say" that included songstress Roberta Flacks nephew, Kamel Flack. They were slated to be pitched to LaFace Records, and disbanded due to other goals. One of Kristopher Lloyd's contributions was assisting in the 1990's Jessie Powell concert, and many 90's hip-hop/R&B artist. Kristopher Lloyd currently works out of Atlanta, GA, Las Vegas & Indianapolis, IN with his Godfather Harvey Scales on his future projects. Projects include a solo album "Until We're Wet", professional dance crews, writing and an alternative performing artist named "Romulous" of Atlanta, GA. The solo singing style that Kristopher Lloyd is compared to the most is Howard Hewitt and Al Hudson. Active for two decades, Kristopher Lloyd is an entertainment sensation that will definitely be a part of the (RIAA) Recording Industry Association of America record books history!
