Certain sounds and images can at times stun the senses with the painful reality of the passage of time.

MSNBC is more of a tool.

The Dallas creators and writers didn't do a good job of keeping dates straight. Not unusual on TV that they play fast and loose with the ages of the actors. Frequently there was mention of Jock and Ellie being married "for more than 40 years" which implies significantly less than 45 years. Jock died in 1981 so say 43 years would mean they married in 1938. Most of your dates match up reasonably well but J.R. was most likely (triangulating all the clues) born in 1939. This movie is just wrong.

She has never had cancer to my knowledge but even if she had it wouldn't have any bearing on my comment.

Actors are very egotistical and thus very jealous of moments in a play when the audience's attention is supposed to be riveted on them. Another actor who draws that attention away is not appreciated. So in this case the bit player stole the scene by drinking the ink. It is a joke that primarily actors would understand and empathize with.

You think "empty headed bimbos" are not interesting?

No, they suck because he's a liberal.

Just to be clear, I'm not cracking on Nicklaus, by "these videos" I mean this type of instructional golf video no matter who the teacher is.

There are different kinds spread over 15 broods. Some 13 years and some 17 years.

Everyone of his uploads that I checked, as of three weeks ago had the comments disabled.

Have never understood how they do this. If I tried it I'd put my eye out and end up slinging sticks in all directions.
-
Yep. We can sing this whilst we spit on liberals.

No, he was not "highlighting homophobia". He was using homosexuals as the brunt of his joke which was that as a straight man he found two guys together disgusting but two women together exciting. It an old joke. It was around ages before Bill Hicks ever used it.

Yes, very accurate. Still is. The reason why AAA is still around and most insurance policies have towing including is not because of able bodied males. It is strictly because of old folks and women.

I don't agree but I clicked "like" just to foil your plot.

No he wasn't impersonating Kaufman. Kaufman was still alive when this aired. Kaufman did a bit impersonating of Elvis. Carrey did to. So did my Uncle Burpo and 3 billion Chinese. Carrey's bit was nothing like Kaufman's beyond Elvis and his various mannerisms (which oddly enough Kaufman did not own).

No, I'm also basing it on what the Moon people tell me and how many green bugs I see on Thursday.

I was surprised that the audience was receptive to a joke at Democrat Jimmy Carter's expense. Then I recalled that the Oscars are held in Spring. In the spring of 1980 Jimmy Carter was in deep doo doo with his own party. Edward Kennedy was challenging him and was pulling strong support from the most liberal elements of the party.

For a little while anyway. I wouldn't be shocked if Tonight's ratings crater again as they did when Conan hosted.

Wow Bill Maher said something I agree with 100%. Jeepers!

Funny that you want to equate "The world is a better place now that X is dead" with "I don't like X's opinions so he should be shot". You are a typical brain-dead leftist sycophant.

Well except what's between your ears.

No idea what this guy is blathering about. Hicks wasn't funny then and he isn't now.

You nitwits trying to defend this pair of idiots are pathetic.

I wish MSN would shove their stupid commercial.

Very nice. I prefer Jose Carreras' version but this one is very good as well.
-
A nice voice but after you've heard Carreras perform this number......well there is just no comparison.
-
Hicks makes himself look stupid here. A private entity has the right to decide what goes out over its airwaves. The only "censorship" that is dangerous and should therefore be fought whenever and wherever it appears is government censorship with the purpose of stifling dissent.
