About K-Pup... My Best Friend Ever
K-Pup is a 14 1/2 year old blind and deaf Chow who unfortunately over the past half year is unable to stand or walk on her own without assistance. She's not suffering to the point where she needs to be put to sleep, it's just that she needs my assistance. I'm with her 24/7 and she's monitored by a motion detector which notifies me if she's trying to get up or just stretching. She also has a video camera with night vision so that I can check on her from any TV in the house or a dedicated monitor next to my bed. Also located within two feet of her is a remote temperature sensor that notifies me of preset temperature ranges. K-Pup has been with me almost a third of my life and unfortunately, I don't think that there's a lot more time to spend together.
I just wanted somewhere to post her videos so that I could remember her when she's no longer with me.
Update: K-Pup passed away on Saturday August 12, 2006 at 12:30 pm.
