About this user
I suck at describing myself. I suppose a comment about myself that I use: "Tall, dark and goofie" pretty well fits so that should suffice for a generic description.
The one thing I hold onto is this: There is no "the truth" but there is the ability to present information in a "least biased" format. Such things as the Ahmadinejad interviews bother me.
I don't trust him any more (nor less) than any other politician but I do believe that HIS words should be provided for folks to hear versus hacking interviews apart to portray him in a specifically chosen way by a reporter. Let me hear HIS words versus "reformatted" to make it sound another way...
That infuriated the hell out of me but not enough to make a video reply.
It was the "hack job" that Associated Press did on the story about a lady that died that got me going. Let's make a "big story" out of a sad incident and slant it to make some security guard look like crap and get him fired... Checking into it a bit... That guard looked to be trying to let folks be more comfortable in discomforting situations and "those involved will be terminated..." as an apology for a story twisted by a reporter.
Man, did that one tick me off. It's not like the "bottom rung" of our society have that many willing to cut them some slack in this world... Now we've got the press trying to discourage any leniency towards their position in life by twisting "facts" to make a "good story".
