Well the trick didn't work, so either I did it wrong or it never worked in the first place and the person who I heard from was wrong.

Yea, I knew they were going to make her a guy...but I think that was way before the characters were even given lines since Fang is on the logo which was one of the first images shown.

There is a trick I'm going to try to get treasure hunter, I won't have time to try until later but if it works I'll be happy.

For money I usually just killed Adamantoise for Platinum ingots but it's not that reliable. Though, you only really need money when you're trying to get the trophies. If you're just playing the story and not going for trophies anymore, money isn't that important really which is kind of funny.
