My response to the Kalam Cosmological Argument:
So if everything that exists needs a designer, and if God exists, then who designed God?
And if you are only talking about everything we can observe in existance having a designer, then you are saying God is excluded because they are unobservable. Well then every hypothetical being can be excluded. Why not replace the word God in the Kalam argument with something else? It still would be indistinguishable.
Below are some interesting quotes:
(BTW I am not claiming everyone below are Atheistic, as some are obviously Deists or Agnostic. But I agree with their statements.)
"I have gained this from philosophy: that I do without being commanded what others do only from fear of the law."
-Aristotle
The sum of my thoughts on Religion/Society through the mind of George Orwell.

Ignorance is Strength.
Freedom is Slavery.
No hard feelings I hope, just my freedom of expression being exercised.
Religions are all alike -- founded upon fables and mythologies. Thomas Jefferson
"Imagine if instead of a corpse on an instrument of torture, our signifier was a child staring in wonder at the stars" - PZ Myers.
"Scientists and atheists have set reasonable standards for evaluating truth, and like to point out that the claims of religion not only fail to meet that bar, but also are contradictory, both within and between the different mythologies." -PZ Myers
"Faith means making a virtue out of not thinking" - Bill Maher.

Ah I see now. I think we are usually only exposed to the hatred of an opposing group, while we never or rarely see the hatred in our own group. Not because we don't wish to, but because of what we come across generally. I can assure you, there is just as much hatred and False DMCA'ing on both sides. It's very sad.
