Hey my name's Mike, im a student at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. I have been playing guitar for about 5 years now. My gear is as follows:
-Gibson Les Paul Studio Black
-Fender American Stratocaster custom body
-Vox AC30 CC2 amplifier
-and I use the Digitech Jimi Hendrix Experience pedal for all of my songs

-I believe that all of my solos in all of the songs I play are improvised 99% if not 100%
-this means I simply make it up as I go along in the key of the song, and since I do multiple takes it usually sounds very different each time
-I do this approach because I found learning songs note for note can be a dull experience after a while, and it is much more fun to create your own stuff
