I'm a proud Scouser and a lifelong resident of the People's Socialist Republic of Liverpool. I'm a Season Ticket holder on the most famous stand in Football, Liverpool FC's twelfth man - The Spion Kop, home to the most passionate, fanatical, loyal, knowledgeable and professional bank of Football fans in the Universe. The mighty Liverpool FC is my religion, Anfield is my Church, the Kop is my shrine, Shankly and Paisley are my Gods.
Rest In Peace our 96 Brothers who were murdered at Hillsborough - we won't stop until JUSTICE is done and R.I.P the 21 Olympiakos Ultras who died tragically at Gate 7 - you'll never be forgotten. Don't buy the fuckin Sun 'Scum' Newspaper! If you see anyone reading/purchasing it in Liverpool, shove it down their fuckin ignorant throat.
Respect to our German brothers from Borussia Monchengladbach - a very special friendship for over 30 years and to all the Ultras, Torcidas and Barrabravas firms throughout the world keeping the old traditions of Football alive.
Our unique Kopite culture is dying a painful death and has been since the greatest terrace in history was wrongly demolished. Our once magnificent support is now plagued by glory-hunters who have no idea of the culture of our fans. This 'modern football' is a problem that every club in England faces, especially in the Premier League. But there are certain rules us Kopites are supposed to adhere to, that separates us from other groups of fans:
1) Wear Adidas trabs, these have long been a symbol of the Kopites. To go with them, any designer clobber. NO replica shirts! Kopites have always been the best dressed fans in the world, it's factual knowledge. NO jester hats either - we're Kopites, not fuckin clowns.
2) Stand all the time, no sitting allowed. Sitting is for arl' codgers and wools!
3) Learn our songs and sing them, loud and proud, with passion; scarves held high! Kopites are some of the world's greatest songwriters with complicated masterpieces like 'Poor Scouser Tommy' and 'Liverbird Upon My Chest'.
4) Join the Spirit of Shankly Union - this has done great work in a short time and needs to keep growing and growing, in terms of numbers and areas of activity. True Kopites want John Henry and NESV out of our club because he isn't a 'Liverpool person'.
5) As true Kopites, we honour the fact that we were born in the People's Socialist Republic of Liverpool. We are NOT English, we are Scouse! We are different to the rest of England. Huyton and Bootle are our annexed territory. True Kopites hate England, especially the English national team. England has tried to keep our city down for decades, we have faced years of abuse from the English. Scousers are treated like an ethnic minority, the Sun is still the most popular newspaper in England - they don't give a shit about us, they hate us!
6) Continuing on from that, protect and promote our banner culture that our Liverpool ancestors worked so hard to create. NO National flags of any kind, and no banners with place names that aren't Scouse. A sea of red banners when we travel in Europe is such an impressive site!
7) Don't watch the disgraceful Soccer AM - if you do, you are not a proper Liverpool fan. Don't allow yourself to be indoctrinated by the terrible, generic fan culture portrayed on that awful programme!
8) Always applaud the other team's goalie, it is the Liverpool way. If we get outplayed and beaten, give the opposition the credit they deserve.
9) Don't buy or read the Sun 'Scum' newspaper. I've mentioned this before, it goes without saying. MacKenzie will rot in hell!
10) Liverpool is a Socialist place, with Socialist beliefs. Swerve the fuckin Lib Dems and of course, the Tory Cunts. All Scousers will dance on Thatcher's grave when the vile bitch kicks the bucket! Also, fuck the BNP!
11) Always support the team through thick and thin, leave the negative bullshit in the pubs, schools etc where it belongs. Get inside the ground early and make the Kop "the bastion of support" it deserves to be.
12) Kopites are innovative, we lead, we have never followed. The rest of the country can keep their overhead seal-clapping and superhero outfits. Not for us, the Kop is better than that; we are better than them!
13) Always remember, there is no other Kop. The Spion Kop at Anfield is a spirit, an attitude. Nobody owns the Kop, we are custodians of the Kop and we must give our lives to defend and ultimately reclaim it.
In this great future, you can't forget your past. Always take immense pride in our wonderful history that we achieved in a time when Football was Football. We didn't buy our success, we have class and dignity! Allez Les Rouges!
5 European Cups and 18 Leagues, we are the envy of every jealous English Club. Let those fantastic memories comfort us in the hard-times. Keep the faith, You'll Never Walk Alone!
