Well I kind of see where your going with this but the thing is that it was a fast break and and Kobe wasn't lebrons responsibility. He shouldn't have had to be guarding Kobe so its not counted against lebron. He's not going to try to let him have the easy basket.

Nahh they still do. I had a Jasper chip one and it got red rings, and my friend had the new one but it broke down. The only reason it doesn't get red rings is because they took out the LED lights around the power button. Essentially it's the same thing though
