Just looked up Beds are burning. I was somewhat close. He was an Aussie and his girlfriend was from Switzerland and they wanted to make the move to Europe. Can't remember which member he was but I believe the lead vocalist. It's cool to find this after all these years. Thanks Ruth Alexandra Nowakoski ( Nino )

In addition I'd been traveling through Bali and He was engaged to this Aussie girl, I think. Long time ago and maybe he was just putting me on but I do remember the song.

I first heard "beds are Burning" in 1991 or so By this Swiss guy who said he was a member of the band that recorded it. I wish I still had the cassette but it's what I heard because I must of played it 100 times that night. Anyone know the origin of it?
