=About Me=
Konechewa, I am Konata Izumi (泉 こなた, Izumi Konata?) I am, more by default than anything else, the "leader" of the main characters. My Nickname is "Kona-chan" (こなちゃん, "Kona-chan"?) by Tsukasa, I am an eccentric, but friendly and outgoing girl, with a mischievous, but good-natured sense of humor. I can be smart, but I HATE studying, thus my grades are a bit uneasy eh heh ^^;;. However, I am an expert in pulling an all-nighter! In contrast to my studying habits, I love video games,to the extent that she can compete against Kagami Hiiragi on trivia-based games.In addition, I love anime, which is also due to my father, Sōjirō Izumi's influence, along with the games. He buys adult games for himself, so I am able to play and enjoy them. In the anime, I constantly refer to or parodies several popular games, anime, and manga (much to the annoyance of Kagami).
In order to fund my interests, I have a part-time job at a cosplay cafe in Akihabara. In online gaming, I play a male fighter type character I often play late into the night, hence why I tends to fall asleep in class ^^;;, which makes me a frequent victim to my homeroom teacher, Nanako Kuroi. Ironically, Ms. Kuroi was also part of Konata's team in the same game. My physique is smaller than average when compared to my peers, which I claim haven't changed since I was in the sixth grade. I am ambidextrous, in contrast to the mostly left-handed main cast. I have long, blue hair which comes down to my calves with a large ahoge, sleepy eyes, a catlike smile and a beauty mark under my left eye, just like my father. My mother, Kanata Izumi, died when I was an infant, and I have lived alone with her father since. In my third year of high school, however, My cousin, Yutaka Kobayakawa, came to live at my house, giving a total of three people in the Izumi residence. Although I spend most of my time playing games in my room, I have a darker skin tone, like my father's.
