About this user

40 something. Employed in academia. Also have a private business. I mostly come on here to watch an old music video or to find something for my students. However a few months ago, a friend asked that I help with some research involving the state of Israel. She didnt ask because im an expert on the topic, or because I lived there for a brief period after college (research purposes). Rather, she asked me for help because of my experience with archivasts and the likes. So I figured I would watch a few videos about Israel, and started reading the comments which followed. I was not expecting to see all of the comments being posted by historical revisionists, and holocaust deniers, and neo-nazi types, these being posted on even the most neutral of sites pertaining to Israel. From there I asked a few questions and made a few neutral comments in response. I was immediately labeled some sort of Zionazi, supporter of lies, supporter of Apartheid and an all-out Jew. So on that topic, let me just say... I support the right of Israel to exist however I would say the same of the Palestinian people living in that region. Beyond that, im not a jew.
Anyways, I have since debated with many of these anti-Israel/anti-jew folk. I have found it an interesting experiment to say the least, but with that, nothing really surprised me ... after all, ignorance is bliss.
I have engaged in a battle of wits, usually with dim-wits, on many topics ranging from the US economy, politics, world history, and the Holocaust. However, I just wanted to type this up for anybody that is interested in the topic of Israel/Holocaust Revisionism/ The Jewish people and is actually taking the time to read this. The following is a synopsis of my exchanges on this site re: the aformentioned topics. I will conclude with the names of certain people and the comments they have made as well as my responses, all of which is already publically posted. This will be lengthy, so if you have a particular question, feel free to contact me.
And if you decide to contact me, All I ask is that you do so so as not to be a douchebag.... yes, educators use that word with regularity! :-)
PS: I have engaged in debate on numerous other topics, but this post isnt about them.
