We farm in Tulelake, Calif, in the Klamath Basin, organic grain and organic horseradish. We manage the www.klamathbasincrisis.org website, a website of farmers and ranchers, miners and loggers. We continue to advocate for use of our natural resources, responsible use. We advocate for equal rights for all races. We also have the www.organichorseradish.com website. Our parents were WWII homesteaders in the Tulelake Basin from the 'Greatest Generation'. They fought for freedom, and dedicated the rest of their lives to feeding a hungry world. We are fighting to keep the freedom to farm. Government agencies and environmental groups have acquired more than 100,000 acres of productive land in the Klamath Basin to create swamps, decreasing our productivity, economy, and water quality. Millions of acres of farmland are being taken out of agriculture annually in America. When will the world understand this crisis? We will present you stories from our communities and farms, from real people.
