Back in High school, (a while ago I assure you..) I had this concept for a slide show for the Song 'Routine Day', I would have to retake all the pictures, but would still love the opportunity to complete this Video Today.. I had spoken with Jamie Vernon about it Last year and he seemed quite interested in the project.. If Dee or Terry are reading this.. I would love to have their permission to go ahead and start working on it. What do you say Guys? I will contact both of you on FB and ask you Officially..

GREAT KLIP for "Calling Occupants". I recently recieved autographed copy of "25th Edition of KLAATU 3;47 E.S.T" from Terry; It a small world in my vast Esoteric Universe.

A friend's older brother introduced me to "Hope" in 1978. From the playful trumpet at the end of "We're Off" I was hooked. As an 10 year old trumpet player, I revelled in the challenge of navigating the key changes while indulging in the awesome lyrical journey. Politzania's anthem caused me to realize the intense emotional connection that others have with their homeland, just as I had with mine and I appreciated even more our individual national ties. "Loneliest of Creatures" brought to light the awesomeness of my own existence in juxtaposition with the enormity of the universe. Even now, in my mid 40s, "Hope" remains THE most philosophically meaningful and musically enjoyable albums I have ever heard. I can't help but shed a tear or two when I sit and listen to "Hope" with my 8 year old son.
Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.

Klaatu is one of Canada's greatest bands and very much under-rated in my opinion; they are to be esteemed among the great Canadian artists of all time...& my list would include Rush, Klaatu, Max Webster, Harmonium, Ian Thomas, The Guess Who, The Musical Box, The Band, Blue Rodeo, Chilliwack, The Grapes of Wrath, Uzeb, Leonard Cohen, Bob Ezrin, Glenn Gould, Daniel Lanois, Gordon Lightfoot, Bruce Cockburn, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Sarah McLachlan, Gino Vannelli, BTO, April Wine, etc., not to mention other artists whose music I have enjoyed (by no means an exhaustive list...there are bands and artists I have not mentioned who have international appeal and success): Age of Electric, Barenaked Ladies, Econoline Crush, FM, Mahogany Rush, Our Lady Peace, Payolas, Rose Chronicles, Delerium, Saga, Spirit of the West, The Stampeders, Streetheart, Tea Party, Trooper, Wide Mouth Mason, Zubot & Dawson, Zuckerbaby, Bryan Adams, Rik Emmett, Stephen Fearing...
