She accomplished her master's degree in fine arts in July 2007 from ALBA (Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts).
She is since February 2008 managing in Lebanon the operations of the pan Arab record label eka3, promoting Independent and New Arabic music in the region.
The major statement of her work is to show how politics and religion can manifest (or transform) themselves in everyday life. She tends to re-place the individual in his private sphere when engaged in a larger political-ideological context.
She tries to oppose and marry simultaneously the propaganda imagery and the urban, social and private body. By doing so, she frames this imagery in its actual time and space, taking it out of its permanent/out of time dimension to include it in an interaction with the environment. Pushing, thereby, the limits of the documentary to poetry or, sometimes, fiction.
In very general words she tries to explore the frontiers between the theoretical claims, the concepts and the human body in its everyday individual life.
