Hi! I'm Preetha. Thanks for stopping by! :) When I was a little girl, I got to, on the one hand, listen to bands belonging to the 60's psychedelic rock genre like "The Jimi Hendrix Experience" and "Cream" and quite a few progressive rock bands like "Queen" and "Traffic". This was all thanks to my dad's music collection. On the other hand, I was exposed to quite a few "Garage Rock" bands from the 60's thanks to my mom's music collection. She is a fan of bands like "The Ventures", "Les 5 Gentlemen", "The Treytones", "Los Sinners", "The Huns", "Antoine Et Les Problemes", to name a few. I am rather crazy about Garage Rock more than any other genre honestly. I guess it's because I find the music to be so catchy and full of attitude and what is fascinating, is the fact that Garage Rock compositions from the 60's are so simply structured but sound so divine! I guess this genre will always occupy a special place in my heart :) I am also a fan of Doom Metal, Stoner Rock, The Blues and Alternative Rock. I do like a bit of disco too! :P I joined youtube to not only discover new music but to share obscure Garage rock tunes which haven't been posted on youtube yet! ;) To me, the more obscure, the better! :D
