About Me:
 
Coco Ma just turned 11. She began taking piano lessons when she was five and a half and her first public recital was at six years old. She became a student at the RCM in the studio of Arshalouise Nersessian 5 years ago and her talent was quick to blossom. In 2009, She was enrolled Young Artist Performance Academy when she was 9, the youngest scholarship student in the program. Coco has performed in the international music festivals and prestigious concert halls in Canada and United States. In 2010, Coco had her Carnegie Hall debut and performed at Steinway Hall New York when she was 9 after winning a gold medal at the prestigious AADGT International Young Musicians competition "Passion of Music". She appeared at "Catching the Rising Star" concert from Canada Music Competition at Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, Toronto. Same year she was also awarded with the Concerto Trophy from CCC Piano Competition and performed with the CCC Youth Orchestra. She has won Age Achievement Trophy from 9 & under category in 2010 and Bach Trophy in 2011 at NYCO music competition. In 2009 & 2011, Coco was the top winner at the Canadian Music Competition at the National Final. Summer 2011, she was the youngest artist to be invited in the Young Virtuosos Series at Music Niagara International Music Festival.
