Of course, I'm sure even a fan of the English Ovide cartoon series can work for some DVD company and purchase CineGroupe's rights and help get an official DVD box set to come out in stores nationwide. Which I plan to do in 2012 or '13 if it's the only way.

Also, I wrote a letter to Shout!Factory a couple of years ago asking if it would be possible for Ovide getting an official DVD release, and one year later they wrote back to me saying that the answer was yes. Now are you satisfied?

Hopefully there will be an official DVD release of Ovide next year for it's 25th anniversary if not sooner than that. And I desperately want to see the "Nectar Of Happiness" episode where Matilda turns Cy into a good guy and Ovide forgives him for his jealousy and selfishness (although Cy has apparently gone back to being a bad guy starting after that episode).
