Optimus fought for FREEDOM not GOOD, get your concepts right. Sentinel SAW the big picture that his race mattered more to him than victory, because victory means NOTHING if his race dies or without the AS.

I disagree. Bay explicitly said that the trilogy was only "respecting" the roots but doing it in a whole new different way. By copying G1 storyline, then what's the point of the new story, might as well just watch G1 again.

Well, at least there are still additional frames/scenes. So I'll give them credit.

The betrayal was fine, because if we didn't have one, it would be a typical autobot stomp decepticon. The problem with the betrayal was the suddenness and Sentinel needed more development prior and after the deed.

Sidious claimed that Starkiller was his equal once he faces him. GL already established that Luke/Anakin/Yoda are the strongest for Jedi and Sidious for sith. When you have a fanfic writer putting a self insert, THAT is Starkiller. Hell, I can make a better backstory than the guy that wrote TFU. ...
