About KingsportPD's channel
These YouTube videos were the first part of a larger community based undertaking by the Kingsport Police Department. The second portion, which is also well underway, involves a partnership with Elixir Media Group to produce a "Kingsport's Most Wanted" TV show to be broadcast on local TV as well as YouTube. The first two episodes can be viewed by clicking on the Favorites link to the right.
The Kingsport Police Deparment recoginizes the value of citizen input and how it can drastically effect our ability to maintain the City of Kingsport in an efficient and effective manner. This project is designed to encourage citizens to act as the eyes and ears of our department. We believe that these community parternships will lead to lasting improvements throughout the city.
