all the mosins ive had and or shot were zeroed with the bayonet on when i got em, with it retracted or taken off i have seen it move the point of impact up to about 10moa

you can fix your rattling door, had to maelstrom-proof my house too, take the catch plate off and if it has a tab in it bend it slightly torwards the middle and it will snug it up a little bit, should fix it

i would say the bullet setback was probably ammo, i have had that happen on bulk cheaper ammo where the cases arent sized properly to keep proper tension on the bullet, sometimes they will set back when they feed and you wont even notice
