Great song. Dougan incorporates classical sounds to modern times. If you listen carefully, the song is someone a 'theme of life.' beginning with a cry(at birth), then serene sounds(childhood), then becoming more serious, more abrasive...to transcend into more peaceful sounds towards the end.
