I am a Catholic country boy (I converted in High school), the ninth in a family of ten, I am living on our farm, west of Chicago, cobbling together a College degree and still uncertain of my future. When I'm not studying I usually play folk music and take care of my sister's kids.

I like learning new instruments, and have been lucky enough to run into most of them. I'm taking Irish music lessons on the Concertina and Irish flute right now, and also studying "real" music on the Bayan.
