I would like to express my sadness and regret over the passing of Michael Jackson and invite his fans to join me here to listen to his music and listen to the man who had to have been the last living legend of our time. Michael did not deserve being treated the way he had been, and I find it especially sad so many people are now realizing some of the things that had been obvious to us, his fans, all along. If Michael was guilty of anything, it was of being too naive. Michael we will remember you forever as the best entertainer of our time! Michael's message through is music was one of peace, love, hope and tolerance. Let all honour Michael's memory by each of us being the best person that we can be. Tomorrow, as you venture out into the world, I challenge you to do ONE THING from your heart. Do something kind and loving for someone you may not even know. If we all do just one thing, we CAN heal the world!
I am a fan of classic rock and what I call "haunting songs". If you're not sure what I mean by that, check out my favorites. "Hotel California", "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Hazard" are 3 of my favorites, to name a few. If you'd like to make me discover some that I don't know, please send me a comment!
I am 44 and have also become a big country music fan. Big fan of Brad Paisley (I think that's kind of obvious!). I never especially liked country until about 4 years ago, or at least I didn't know that I liked country until 4 years ago. One day I was driving around and suddenly I started flipping the stations a little bit. Finally I landed on something that I found was half decent. Then they played another song, which I liked too. I thought "Gee this is good music, what station is this anyway?". Then I hear "XL96! Moncton's BEST COUNTRY"! And I was, like, "WHAT?? I like COUNTRY?". lol
