The key to peace between Palestinians and Israelis is not war or leaders simply negotiating borders. Its education. Education for both sides into both cultures. Negotiations will only draw new borders. Education will remove the hatred that has brewed among both sides.
I love all religions and beliefs. I don't believe that Religion should be used as a justification for the crimes of man. Rather, it should be a path of enlightenment and moral guidance.
In a world gripped by paranoia and extremism, it sickens me how the voices of reason and tolerance have been drowned out by the voices of fear and hatred. The world is now tearing itself apart. Using things like religion and God to justify the greed of those in power. Violence is now the main way for people to communicate. When the bad are given the voice and the power to impose their will on whomever they please while the good remain silent out of fear and apathy, what hope does humanity have at ever establishing a better world for itself?

The Muslim Brotherhood is a quite reactionary party, but there is no evidence that the MB cadres were responsible for attacking and killing Copts. I'm not in any way a friend of the MB, but I'm just telling you what my secular Egyptian friends themselves have confirmed about MB's relations with Copts. The people who usually do these hatecrimes against Copts are Wahhabi Islamist mobs who are sympathetic to the ideology of al Qaeda. The MB has explicitly distanced itself from al Qaeda and even condemned an al Qaeda terrorist attack against a church in Baghdad last year.
But I disagree about the killing thing. There aren't extremist Muslims. There are people who defend their honor their women and their lands. Lebanon: Called terrorists for defending. Afghanistan: Called terrorists for defending. Palestine: called terrorists for surviving an ongoing genocide. Peace won't come by education, it'll come from understanding.
