About KidsLinkin'Cultures
Kids Linkin' Cultures is a project in which children from different cultures around the globe paint their view of their (multicultural) world. Eventually all paintings will be linked to each other to make up one big painting which expresses how we are all linked to each other. We will then start with a tour of exhibitions, in a unique way.
All paintings that have been made so far can be admired on our website www.kidslinking.nl This website will also be the place for the eventual auctioning of the paintings. All donations for and profits of the KidsLinkin'Cultures project are intended for the homeless children in the projects of Wereldkinderen.
Song and video for KidsLinkin'Cultures
The artist Yellowcatz composed a song especially for KidsLinkin' Cultures, and StoneVision Steve, alias Steve Clark, musician and video artist, made a video for this project.
On Sunday October 12, 2008, Yellowcatz performed this song live on stage at the RelizappInCultures festival in the Almeerse Schouwburg. Of course the video was shown on a 6 x 4 meter screen simultaneously! It was a joyous day :D
Our Youtube site will mainly be used to support the project, people from all over the world are invited to join: artists, musicians, and anyone who wants to help organizing exhibitions of the paintings in different countries. Pedimos que niños de todo el mundo se unan a nosotros pintando, todos los niños desde los 6 hasta los 14 años pueden unirse a este proyecto. Pintar en un tamaño de 20x30 cms el mundo a través de vuestros ojos. Por e-mail a este canal o a este link : info@kidslinking.nl y os ofreceremos toda la información para participar. Los dibujos pueden ser enviados hasta el Diciembre el 31ro de 2008.

Info sobre KidsLinkingCultures:
Es un proyecto con niños de diferentes culturas alrededor del mundo que dibujan desde su punto de vista su mundo multicultural.
La idea es que estos dibujos se liguen uno a otro y así formen un enorme mural que expresará que estamos unidos el uno al otro. Entonces, empezaremos un "tour" exponiendo esta obra de una unica forma.
Todas las pinturas hasta ahora hechas, pueden admirarse en nuestra página : www.kidslinking.nl. Esta página informará también el sitio donde se expondran algunas obras.
Todas las obras de los niños para el proyecto de "Kidslinkingcultures" son para los niños sin hogar del proyecto Wereldkinderen.

El pasado Domingo 12 de octubre, Yellowcatz cantó en directo en el festival RELIZAPPINCULTURES En el teatro de Almeerse (Amsterdam)
Por supuesto, el video se mostró en una pantalla gigante de 6x4 en ese fantastico día!
Nuestra página de Youtube, será principalmente el apoyo a este proyecto, gente de todo el mundo están invitados a unirse: artistas, músicos y cada uno que quiera ayudar organizando exposiciones de los dibujos en diferentes paises.
